The gemstone in this handmade necklace is a Scottish Lewisian Gneiss and these gemstones have a wonderful range of colours within them.  They are found in the Hebridean islands on the West of Scotland and are 3000 million years old !

I have set this Scottish gemstone in recycled sterling silver and surrounded it with little handmade silver leaves.  The total width of the pendant is 40 mm which includes the leaves.  The oval gemstone measures 18 x 13 mm.  The length of the chain can be selected and please contact me if the length you require is not listed.
