This is a unique necklace created from sterling silver and a black and white dendrite gemstone.  The tear drop shape gemstone is set in sterling silver and little botanical shapes are soldered around the edge.  The silver has been darkened with a patina to enhance the pattern.
 
There are lovely branch like patterns on the surface of the dendrite gemstone.  The word dendrite comes from the Greek word for ‘tree-like' and is perfect for this stone.
