This is a truly magical pendant which is the perfect gift for someone that believes in fairies. I have created these fairy wing necklaces using the plique-a-jour enamel technique with sterling silver. This involves cutting out the fairy wing shape and creating small cut out areas with a jewellers saw.  I then fill these areas with wet transparent enamel which is left to dry out and then fired in a kiln. This is repeated many times until the wing cutouts are filled. It's a slow process that takes patience and a steady hand but is definitely worth it.
 
When the fairy wing is held up to the light it shines like stained glass. This is a really unique necklace which would make a wonderful gift for a special occasion.

Your fairy wing pendant will be supplied on an 18 inch sterling silver chain although if you would prefer a different chain length please just let me know, The height of the pendants is approximately 3 cm.
