These sterling silver gemstone earrings would make such a thoughtful gift for a loved one. I have handmade them from sterling silver and an oval hematite gemstone which measure 8 x 22 mm.

 

Above the hematite stones sit little five petal flowers and a small leaf. These then hang from handmade sterling silver ear wires.  The total length of the earrings is approximately 5.7cm.

 

The hematite used in these earrings is man-made hematite as natural hematite is now extremely difficult to find. The majority of hematite jewellery is made from man-made hematite.
