I have handmade this Scottish gemstone silver bangle from recycled sterling silver, 24 kt gold foil and a beautiful Highland marble gemstone.  The little silver flower is based on a Scottish primrose making the bangle a thoughtful gift for a nature lover.  
 
The primrose that I have created has a 24 kt gold foil centre which has been applied to the silver using an ancient technique called Keum Boo.  The lovely Scottish primrose is found natively only in the far North of Scotland and the Highland marble gemstone is formed under the sea around the Scottish West coast islands where it is collected by divers from under the water. 
 
The dimensions of the Highland marble are 14 x 10 mm and the diameter of the bangle is 6.5 cm and the internal circumference is 19 cm.  It fastens with a hook and eye closure and has been hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office.
