Labradorte is the gemstone set within this necklace and the ancient Canadians believed that the stone must have fallen from the northern lights and was filled with frozen fire. The iridescent colours in it are beautiful and I can understand why they thought that.
 
This necklace was created from a sheet of silver and silver wire. The labradorite is set in a bezel with a circle of wire soldered to the top. I have added a little 5 petal flower and the pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain.
