This dainty sterling silver Scottish primrose floral hair pin would make a beautiful accessory for a Scottish wedding.  It would be a wonderful gift for bridesmaids or a gorgeous addition to a bride's hair.  Scottish primroses are beautiful and are only found natively on the far North coast of Scotland, living on the cliff edge.  Ancient Scottish folk lore says that primroses help us ward off evil spirits and help us connect with fairies.
 
This silver hair pin has been handmade by myself using traditional techniques and recycled sterling silver with a flower sitting at the top.  The centre of the flower has a touch of 24 kt gold foil which has been applied using the traditional technique of Keum Boo.
 
The primrose diameter is 13 mm and the total length of the hair pin in 78 mm. It has been hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office and will be delivered gift wrapped.  If you would like more that I have available then please get in contact to arrange for me to create more.
